Stay in Ketosis – With Ice Cream?? Yes, Sugar Free Ice Cream

[wpspinner-img class="image-class"]

When trying to tackle the ketogenic diet—especially early on—focus on the positives. Focus on all the things you can eat—not what you’re going to say “no” to right now. For example, instead of thinking—“But I’ll never get to eat ice cream on keto” find healthy keto-friendly alternatives that taste great. And if I do say so myself, my new Kebby’s Ice Cream is hands-down best-tasting keto desserts – sugar-free ice cream (a low carb ice cream) treat you will find anywhere.

I spent years developing this ice cream to get the recipe just right – and simply amazing. It’s truly creamy, sweet, and delicious in either vanilla or chocolate. More flavors are in development, too.

In fact, for most people, an occasional treat is actually one KEY to their weight loss success. Instead of staying in full-on deprivation-mode, which spikes stress hormones and actually stalls weight loss—why not boost fat burning by boosting satiety!

When you need something sweet — keto desserts or paleo desserts — eat it but look for healthy low carb alternatives that will help you stay well within your daily allotment of 20 to 50 grams of carbohydrate.

About Kebby’s Ice Cream: A Sugar-Free Ice Cream

It’s so hard to find a good tasting sugar free ice cream that is healthy.  Most ice creams, even low carb ice cream, and low sugar varieties contain 14 to 25 grams of sugar. And sugar is not only the enemy of weight loss but also the enemy of health.

After much experimentation and research, I developed a frozen dessert with less than 1 gram of sugar and only 7 to 8 carbs per serving. Even on 20 grams of carbs a day, there’s still plenty of room for vegetables.

With Kebby’s, I wanted to create a kind of ultimate frozen treat—something so luscious, creamy, and high in healthy fat that it would boost satiety and suppress stress hormones like cortisol.

It took me months to find the perfect combination that yielded the perfect sweetness, without any weird aftertaste like some sugar-free ice creams have. I discovered a combination of monk fruit extract and xylitol that yielded the perfect natural-tasting sweetness. It also meets 19% of your RDA for calcium 9% for iron, and 2% for potassium.

If you want to know how good it tastes, here are some reviews:

  • “If you were like, ‘This is a $100 pint of ice cream,’ I would believe it.”
  • “The texture is perfect…the texture of a very fine ice cream. The taste, simply yummy. I had to really discipline myself to not eat the entire container!
  • “I absolutely love the desert. It was at my doorstep frozen solid. The texture is very creamy, I assume from the coconut oil. Great flavor.”

There’s nothing wrong with rewarding yourself with a treat on the ketogenic diet. In fact, paleo  desserts treats like sugar free ice cream and low carb keto desserts like low carb ice cream treats to give you something to enjoy with your family that make mealtime healthy—and fun!

Thanks,
Dr. Berg
